I play and record music for a living. Until I get time to give you a real web site, copy my name (Stefan Kukurugya) and Google me in the meantime!

You can find me playing around Detroit (and the country, to some degree) in various environments, from jazz clubs to country clubs, rock gigs to funk to "Dueling Pianos". People tell me that the Detroit cats are some of the most versatile players around.

Every Tuesday/Wednesday 6:30pm-9:30pm (or later) I'm usually playing/singing requests solo at Trattoria Andiamo 20930 Mack just north of Vernier, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. A number of singers and sing-alongers are stopping by. Last week we had four-part harmony going on!

Weekend gigs are varied. The public ones are:

Torch With a Twist Burlesque/Variety show at Hockeytown theatre next to the Fox on Woodward June 5, 2010.

Every Sunday 11am gospel style church gig at St. Charles Borromeo 1491 Baldwin at St. Paul Street, Detroit  48214. Just NE of Lafayette and East Grand Blvd. (Near Belle Isle) The great singer Tommy Nance conducts. We encourage vocalists to stop by and sit in with the choir!

Every other Monday I conduct the Workmen's Circle Chorus- singing in Yiddish! Come join us!
